My practice seeks to forge deeper connections with our social and cultural environments by examining the colours, textures, patterns and objects that inhabit a space which, upon reflection, reveal the narratives and behaviours associated with those spaces. As part of my practice, I build library of resources through extensive documentation using observational drawings, extracting impressions from different surfaces, collaging, photographing textures and patterns and creative writing. Being a communication designer, my work often involves a blend of analog and digital techniques. Going further, I would like to develop my authorial voice, expanding on the text-image relationship, delving deeper into linear and non-linear narratives.
